- Stock #[removed phone] - Restoration Project Boat! Runs great, needs cosmetics. There were only about 20 of this 1969 Chris-Craft 47 Commander (Fishing Cockpit) ordered and built out of about 250 total 47 Commanders built. She was built in Pompano Beach, Florida at the time. The current owners purchased her in March of 2015 and had the intention of restoring her but they are finding it more work than what they bargained for and they are a considerable distance away. That's why they are selling the vessel. She is a fiberglass hull in good condition. The current owner has all of her paperwork to include the order sheet for the original owner, 1969 Chris Craft Brochure with the business card for the rep that sold the boat. All factory supplied blue prints for systems on the boat, factory manuals for the engines, transmissions, original installed equipment, plus later equipment. She has 6 new batteries. She is proudly afloat and is in usable, original, unrestored condition although, has had regular maintenance and some upgrades. She is available for inspection and survey. She is after all, a restoration project! The owners have a fair inventory of spare parts and materials already purchased that will be included with the sale. She is powered by twin Detroit 8v53 natural aspirated diesel engines. Engines have low hours since major overhauls. Has a 10.5 Northern Lights generator with 600 hours since new installed in 2004. -An all electric Galley, three burner electric stove with oven, two door refrigerator, frost free installed new in 2006 and a microwave. This lovely old Yacht was built like a tank and built to last! She runs great and feels good on the water. This boat is fully usable as is, but is in need of a total cosmetic restoration. Please submit any and ALL offers - your offer may be accepted! The fiberglass hull and decks according to the owner are in good condition, however she was in a storm recently and the swim platform came loose and the screws pulled out and poked a couple of holes in the hull which have been caulked. The master stateroom had a small leak and they believe that has been remedied. The fishing cockpit floor is gray and in need of sanding and varnishing, around the helm some wood needs replacement and generally the wood everywhere needs sanding and finishing. Some of the head liner was pulled down and they are finding a leak in the ceiling...She has good bones, she just needs some restoration to bring her back to her former glory.
